Join us this fall at Habits of the Heart for the biblical narrative that begins east of the Jordan River…
It has been 40 years since God delivered the Israelites out of the hands of Pharaoh. The time has now come for them to be given the land God had promised. In the book of Deuteronomy, Moses, with his death imminent, lovingly reminds, encourages, and warns God’s covenant people about what is expected of them as they start a new nation with the one true God as their sovereign King. Their loving obedience to the God who has faithfully led them will be a witness to the world—and to us—of the power and presence of this eternal King.
We invite you to join us as we study the book of Deuteronomy.
This Bible study is offered to the community and includes discussion groups, lectures, music and fellowship. The children’s program is an integral part of the ministry. While the women study, Habits of the Heart provides infant (2 months and older) and toddler care. Preschool classes are offered through kindergarten age which include Bible lessons, activities and music. Children’s classes are limited in size and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Habits of the Heart offers morning and evening sessions, both meeting on Wednesdays. The morning session meets from 9:15 to 11:15 am. The evening session meets from 7:00 to 8:15 pm. Please note: no childcare is provided for the evening session. This year, Habits of the Heart will begin Wednesday, September 7, and will continue through March 2017. We meet at Zionsville Fellowship. The cost is $25 (checks payable to Zionsville Fellowship).
