Welcome team Ministry

The welcome ministry’s purpose is to promote a God-glorifying experience in which every member and guest feels welcomed, loved, and valued in Christ, and to help them connect with others or take their next step toward being and making disciples.

Vibrant Volunteer Culture

“We have different gifts according to the grace given us. If one’s gift is prophecy, let him use it in proportion to his faith; if it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is giving, let him give generously; if it is leading, let him lead with diligence; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully” (Romans 12:6-8)

All Christians are called to show hospitality to one another, but not everyone is gifted in the same way. Welcome ministry volunteers are marked by a God-given ability to serve, love, and welcome everyone when we gather to together.

Hospitality-Driven Mindset

“May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.” (Romans 15:6-7)

Paul’s emphasis on hospitality is clear: our goal to extend Christ’s welcome when we gather on Sundays stems from Christ himself having welcomed us first.

Volunteer Recruitment and Training

“…equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:12)

We value training volunteers to encourage and equip them in their ministry.

Intentional Connections Pathway

“For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.” (Romans 1:11-12)

Paul’s intentional discipleship posture in this text shows us a clear pathway for our engagement with guests—whether on Sunday morning or following up during the week. We connect with guests and look for ways to help them take the next step toward faith in Christ or spiritual growth.
