Retreat Theme:
What does it mean to fear the Lord, and how does this help us fight our other fears? Scripture tells us that when we are afraid, we should put our trust in God (Psalm 56:3). Fear is a common human emotion and can even be a merciful gift from God when rightly felt; but many of us would like to fear things less. If you’ve ever been afraid of the future, afraid of bad news, or afraid of other people, then join us for this women’s retreat focused on growing in the fear of God. Together, we will learn to trust his character and promises—and learn to fight our fears.
Retreat Speaker: Kristen Wetherell
Kristen is a pastor’s wife, mother of three, writer and speaker. They live in the Chicagoland and are members of The Orchard. Her mission is to help others love Jesus, learn his word, and live in light of his gospel. She loves teaching God’s word to women of local churches and counts it a privilege to serve us this weekend.
Registration:
Registration is per-person, and the deadline is Monday, February 23. Fees include Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, snack & lunch. For scholarship assistance, please reach out to office@zionsvillefellowship.org.
