MEN'S MINISTRIES
We are committed to encouraging the growth of men as disciples of Jesus. We do this through biblical teaching, true fellowship, and living on mission. Here are several opportunities to join together.
MEN'S GROWTH GROUPS
Each fall and spring we offer various Growth Groups. Led by our pastoral staff, these small groups of men will meet for 6-8 weeks to engage in gospel-centered discussions on essential topics. You will walk away with deeper relationships, along with refined knowledge, skills, and character as disciples.
Previous Growth Groups included:
- Finishing Well
- Being Men of Prayer
- Developing Core Habits for Spiritual Growth
- Confronting Racial Problems as Followers of Jesus
- Domestic Abuse: Informing and Equipping the Church
men's fellowship breakfast
Our 2025 Men’s Ministry theme is Fight the Good Fight: The World, Flesh, and Devil. Like the Apostle Paul, we long to be able to say, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith.” Our journey to godly manhood is not without battles, both within and without. This year, we will explore the enemies that seek to undermine our spiritual vitality and how, as men, we can link arms to overcome them.
Men of all ages are invited for breakfast and fellowship. The fellowship breakfast occurs once a quarter. The coffee will be hot at 8:15 AM! Breakfast will begin at 8:30 AM. This cross-generational gathering is open to all, and there is no charge. The next breakfast will be on April 12, 2025, at one of our member's homes in Zionsville inside an event barn with plenty of parking.
MEN'S RETREAT - NOVEMBER 21-22, 2025
Highland Lakes Camp
Men’s Retreat is a weekend experience to deepen relationships with the Lord and each other through lots of conversations, Biblical teaching, and fun. Highland Lakes Camp, nestled in 400 wooded acres outside of Mooresville, provides cabins or hotel-type rooms for our overnight retreat. Young men, age 13 and older, are encouraged to attend.
FRIDAY MORNING MEN'S BIBLE STUDY
Each Friday morning from 6:45-7:45 am, men from ZF and the community meet at ZF to pray and study. Currently, the men are studying and discussing the book of Galatians led by Tim Heidenreich. Join us for robust conversation and teaching. Contact Tim Heidenreich at 317-910-2992 to get connected.
